Corrupt Sterling
Created By Victoria Hegedus and Tyler Mihaljevic
Something terrible happened when you turned off that computer.

The sounds of rain are replaced with thousands of voices and you're starting to feel dizzy.

Some monster took the place of your boss and is blocking the exit, you better find another way out.

New faces on Channel 42
After foreign materials from Sterling were brought into Channel 42, new denizens were born.
The Speaker Snare
The Speaker Snare is best described as a giant pair of chatter teeth rigged to snap shut like a beartrap being held up by a mess of frayed wires.
The Speaker Snare houses a screen so that the monster it's named after can be seen.

Inside the Speaker Snare lies a tongue remote.
Since Channel 42 is a TV dimension, the tongue remote acts as a method of escape.
The control this remote has over the dimension gives a reason to why it is guarded.
The True Speaker
Something terrible happened to your boss when you turned off the computer...
One of the Speakers was given human form.

The True Speaker can be heard spouting nonsense while the user is in corrupted Sterling.

This denizen blocks Sterling's traditional exit, causing the user to have to find another way out.
Corrupt Sterling is a VR(Virtual Reality) experience developed in the Unity Engine. Corrupt Sterling was a group project I worked on with Victoria Hegedus. The experience was designed as a union between Sterling and Channel 42. The project was centered around the idea of: "What if Sterling was sucked into Channel 42?"

You can view the whole experience in the video below.
